VTB Bank (Azerbaijan), on the eve of the new academic year in the republic, became a participant in the campaign "Help the children get ready for school."
The event was organized by the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku. Its main goal is to support children from low-income families.
As part of the campaign, which took place from 1st to 13th September in Baku, Ganja, Ismayilli, Gabala, Balakan, Zagatala and Astara, 200 future first-graders, mainly from low-income families, received school bags with a full set of all necessary school supplies - notebooks, sketchbooks, diaries, pencil cases, erasers, pencils, pens, rulers and other necessary accessories.
“Social responsibility is a key element of VTB's culture, and we are always ready to support projects aimed at the development of children. We are glad that today we were able to personally congratulate the first-graders on the start of the new academic year. I wish all students high achievements in their studies, interesting and bright days of school life,” - said Evgeny Borodin, Member of the Board, Director of the Retail Business Development Department of VTB (Azerbaijan) at the event in honor of the completion of the campaign.
