It is very convenient payment product as one card can be used for all transactions. Azerbaijan becomes the first country in the CIS andSouth-Eastern Europe region, where this innovative product has been launched.
Visa Dual Card from Kapital Bank has a single chip, as with many other bank issued cards in Azerbaijan. The difference is that the built-in chip contains the data of two cards or underlying accounts –both debit and credit. Each card account has its own number indicated on the front of the card. When making a payment, theconsumerchooses which cardthey would like to access. The POS-terminal at the point-of-sale or the ATM reads the data from the chip and offers the consumerthe choice of which account should be debited for their transaction.
