AZINNEX discussed the possibility to implement Azerbaijan’s innovations in the Kingdom of Morocco | Banco.az

State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan «ASAN Services» paid an official visit to Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco at the invitation of by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) on November 9 – 10, 2017. The official delegation of Azerbaijan was accompanied by the members of Azerbaijan Consortium of Export Innovations (AZINNEX) - Mr. Rauf Hasanov, the Managing Director of BESTCOMP and Mrs. Jana Krimpe, the CEO of «B.EST Solutions» Company.

During the visit the bilateral meetings were held with the Delegate-Ministry for Public Service and the Modernization of the Administration under the Head of Government and the Delegate-Ministry for General Affairs and Governance under the Head of Government. The achievements of Azerbaijan innovative companies were presented along with the Azerbaijan’s innovative brand «ASAN Services» and ABAD project. The implementation of such technologies as «ASAN İmza» Mobile ID, Digital Trade Hub, Azexport.az, innovative platforms for the judicial system and others were discussed. It was mentioned that Azerbaijan technologies had proven themselves in many countries and could be a link in building up and development of the lasting trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco.

Within the visit the MoU between ISESCO and «ASAN Services» was signed by Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, the Director General of the Organization, and Mr. Inam Karimov, the President of the Agency.

The MoU aims to develop the delivery of public services in Member States in the fashion of Azerbaijan’s internationally recognized «ASAN Services» new model which won the UN Public Service Award. The MoU also provides for the implementation of many projects and programmes for Member States in the coming years.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has been the ISESCO member since 1991 and played an important role in the organization’s success. The ISESCO’s active position allows presenting the level of Islamic culture and education globally and delivering Islam’s peaceful intentions. Expressing its determination to widen existing bilateral collaboration, the decision was made to extend it to provision of the Public services, as one of the most important State’s reforms, undertaken by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The MoU signed with ISESCO emphasizes the importance of transparent provision of the Public services oriented to each citizen to create favourable conditions for achieving stable development in all the areas, including politics, economics etc.

Other Azerbaijan initiatives including Azerbaijan Consortium of Export Innovations (AZINNEX) recently initiated by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan «ASAN Services» were presented at the event. When discussing the prospects of strategic partnership within ISESCO and further ISESCO and Africa’s market entry, it was noted that AZINNEX would represent the interests of Azerbaijan companies providing innovative solutions for development of Public electronic services abroad, including technologies currently used in a number of countries. For example, the ISESCO BESTDOC PORTAL based on ISESCO ID, an electronic ID specially developed for ISESCO, is the implementation of one of such innovations. This platform is a single identification tool for the whole system, uniting 52 member states all over the world. This solution is based on Azerbaijan «Asan İmza» Mobile ID technology, operated by «B.EST Solutions», and «Asan ID», branded as «Made in Azerbaijan». Today ISESCO BESTDOC PORTAL enables the ISESCO member-states to collaborate within the single electronic environment for easier and improved workflow. The possibility of using ISESCO BESTDOC PORTAL for development of cross-border e-services within the Digital Trade Hub was also discussed.

One of the discussions was devoted to the collaboration between AZINNEX and ISESCO. The parties discussed the prospects of the strategic partnership for the further spread of Azerbaijan innovations in education, healthcare, tourism, finance, public administration, navigation and information security within the region. This topic was presented by Mrs. Jana Krimpe, the head of the Azerbaijan Mobile ID Consortium and the CEO of «B.EST Solutions». She stressed the long-term and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and ISESCO: «11 years ago the Vice-President of Azerbaijan Republic Mehriban Aliyeva became ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador. Only three outstanding public figures of Islamic world have been awarded this title. Mehriban Aliyeva pays particular attention to the realization of the programmes aimed at promoting education, culture, improvement of living standards of people who are in need of special attention and care. A lot has been done to develop the fruitful relations between Azerbaijan and ISESCO due to Mehriban Aliyeva's support. I would also like to thank the Director General of the ISESCO Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri for his contribution to the development of this relationship and his support of implementing Azerbaijan innovation technologies within the Organization and beyond.»
